ReplyDeleteThe earthquake prediction given by me are for window period of + or - one day.ie toal 3 day window( day being as per UTC time)
Now, I have given 4 dates ie total 12 days window period in the month of December 2011
It means ,40% of the time period of the month (12/31) is consumed in window period
One suggestion for all to observe
Suppose,10 quakes of 6 and above
occur in the month of December 2011. Hence by average 40% of these ie 4 qiuakes of 6 and above should occur in my window period.
Anything above 40% ,will be better than average
Let us wait and watch

ReplyDeleteThe odds on getting a mag 6+ quake in a 3 day window are 0.667 and 4 cases are too few; there's a 20% chance of getting them all right - by chance.

Your last prediction for December comes pretty close to a prediction I have made based on a re-occurrence of a planetary pattern that existed for the Sumatra quake in late December 2004. My estimate is from 0001 UT on 12/24 to 2359 UT 12/26 (midpoint at noon, UT on the 25th). I am estimating that it will be at least a 6.7 magnitude quake and occur in either Sumatra, China, or Japan. I think that there is at least a 50% chance that it will be 7.1 or better in magnitude. -RetroJoe

ReplyDeleteYes ,you are right. We may witness some of the major quakes ,(may be 7+) on the dates mentioned here in, especially 10th, 20th and 24th December 2011
I understand ,your feelings,but no one here to listen to our reseacrh,unless it is based on plate tectonics. Beauty of the whole research plans and expenditure (hard earned tax payers money)is that, it says the earthquakes can not be predicted
All that,scientists and Geologist as well as Seismologist do is find out various reasons as to why it is not possible to predict quakes!!!!!!!!
Nevertheless ,keep working. One day or the other the truth will come out
