Hi
ReplyDeleteA 6.6 quake at Alaska
First hit prediction
Amit
Hi yet another quake ,6.4 at Volcano Island today is 16th.
ReplyDeleteA date hit prediction
Amit
Hi
ReplyDeleteYet another major quake 6.5 today
Three quakes on predicted date
Amit
Two more major quakes on predicted date
ReplyDelete6.5 Indonesia
6.1 Costa Rica
So ,five 6+ quakes all over the globe on predicted date
It is by chance?
Think out of the box
Amit
One major 8.2 quake at Indonesia
ReplyDeleteAmit;
ReplyDeleteI only see 4 in your window and 8 others that you missed (so far)
Yes, just chance.

ReplyDeleteI could give dates till 15th.
On 15th we have public holiday(independence day),hence could find some time ,
So you can not count quakes prior to 15th as a miss
I can not loose a race if I have not participated
Amit
Amit;
ReplyDeleteThat's correct, my error.
You can't miss a prediction you never made.
However, since you didn't predict multiple quakes you only get credit for one hit.

ReplyDeleteMy theory says a given date is potent and give one or more quakes.Theory does not have to do any thing with plate tectonics. If you accept this there could be one or more quakes and all are hits
Amit
Amit;
ReplyDeleteNope, doesn't work that way.
One or more still counts as one hit.
It's a matter of computing probability; window size divided by total number of days.
Roger
Hi
ReplyDelete6.2 Earthquake at Oregon,a hit prediction
Amit
What’s the probability of a major earthquake in the LA area in the next month? Considering the heightened activity in the ring of fire?
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteOne more date hit ,6.3 at Alaska to day
ie 23rd Aug 2018
Dave
Hi
ReplyDeleteYet another hit quake. 7.1 at Peru on 24th August
Amit
Ami;
ReplyDeleteAs I've said before, the monthly counts don't matter, it's the multi-year average that matters and yours is below chance.
Roger
Hi
ReplyDeleteOne more hit prediction.
6.1 quake at Iran on 25th Aught
How many hits are required to prove the point?
Now a question for all those who support plate tectonics
How come there are so many major quakes all over the globe on one date?
Do we mean ,the built-up stress of centuries, on various plate boundaries (not connected to each other in any way)gives way on a given date
Roger is requested to explain this,before stating I am below average
Amit
Amit;
ReplyDeleteJust coincidence and you're still below chance.
Roger
Amit
ReplyDeleteI think you would find this has always happened. Just now there's better technology in place to pick them all up so precisely and we can communicate and obtain that information so easily .
