    Amit;

    I wouldn't consider anything other than Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.

    The rest are too small or too far away.

    Yes
    You are right.in general except a few exceptions.
    When they join with same Declinations with Moon and Moon is closer ,a 6+ quake may occur

    amit;

    it seems to me that only sun and moon have any significant force to trigger a quake and even then the subsurface condition must be ready.

    Do you have any significant list of quakes with sun and moon positions?

    If not I can supply the quakes.

    Actually, a calendar showing both quakes and planets would be best if that's possible.

    We need to know both hits and misses to compute probabilities.

    Amit;

    I'm currently creating a year long data file, one line per day. I'll then add all the quakes for 2006 (6.0+). Could you send me (or post here) all the relevant planetary configurations for that year?

    One year isn't much but it's a start. More can be added if you're willing.

    I have the year long list of mag 6+ quakes for each day together with your astronomical information but I don't know how to email it or post it here.

    Which is better and how do I do it, or would postal mail be better?

    amit;

    I now have astrological ephemerides from 2000 to 2025.

    Makes a book over an inch thick.

    I'll get a notebook big enough to hold them. Easier to read that way.

    I'd like to write a program to read them and convert to degrees but computers don't
    understand glyphs and I don't know how to explain them to a PC

    Yes.

    I made a list of every day in 2023, added every mag 6.0+ quake in 2023 and added every astronomical event in your list.

    Then counted the results.

    How did your examination turn out?

    I'll be able to get the counts for the whole year.

    Now I get 54. It may be that you want credit for quakes on the day before or after the aspect while I'm counting all quakes not on the day as misses.

    amit;

    there are 87 quakes on that list. 56 of them have no planet aspect.

    Maybe you are not counting days with multiple quakes?

    amit;

    yes, 44 days containing 56 quakes.

    amit;

    part of the problem may be that you looked at 6.5+ quakes while I was counting 6.0+ quakes.

    I recounted my list again with the following results;
    -------------------------
    Number of quakes 87
    -------------------------
    Days with quakes 69
    Days with aspects 31
    -------------------------
    Quakes in aspects 31
    Quakes without aspects 56
    --
    87
    -------------------------
    Aspects with quakes 23
    Aspects without quakes 8

    Amit;

    Here are my results for 6.5+ quakes vs your aspects

    Days with 6.5+ quakes 23
    Days with aspects 31

    Number of 6.5+ quakes 33
    6.5+ quakes in aspects 20
    6.5+ quakes without aspects 13

    Aspects with 6.5+ quakes 20
    Aspects without 6.5+ quakes 8

    I don't see much difference between yours and mine and
    neither one give much support to the aspects.
