Major quakes for year 2010 were already posted on my blog earlier. However a little modification is given below
1)3rd September 08.10 UTC----6.2
2)8h September--10.30 UTC--7.3
In fact it is expected that ,there could be two major quakes ,one on 8th and another on 9th September 2010 (11.10 UTC--7+)

Amit;
The probability of a 6.2 or larger quake somewhere in the world within a 3 day window is 0.458 so it's not surprising that you get some hits.
What's surprising is that you don't get more of them since it's about coin toss odds.

Breaking Step:Major Earthquake Prediction
Get 7 dates by predict 7 times, corresponding to USGS World 7.5+ earthquakes, in which ± 7 days 1 times, ± 3 days 1 times, ± 2 days 1 times, ± 1 day 2 times, ± 11 days 1 times, and another 1 corresponding to USGS magnitude 7.3 earthquake ± 4 days .

Thank you very much.I have posted dates for year 2009 along with actual quakes (10th June 2010 post) and year 2010 (10th January 2010 post)
I would like others to evaluate my
prediction accuracy.
thanks
Amit
Amit;
I have no idea what Mr Mike is trying to say.

Jupiter is cozying up to Earth this month. At its closest approach, the giant planet will swing closer and shine brighter than at any time between 1963 and 2022.
You can already see Jupiter twinkling low in the east after twilight, and higher in the southeast as the evening wears on. But it will be brightest in the second half of September. The gas giant’s closest approach will be at a distance of 368 million miles on Monday, September 20. Its previous swing-by in August 2009 was 2 percent farther, and the next approach in October 2011 will be a little less than 1 percent more distant.
Jupiter is also brighter than usual by about 4 percent because one of its brown cloud belts is hidden.
Uranus will be visible in the same part of the sky until September 24, though you’ll need binoculars or a telescope to see it. The full moon will appear right above Jupiter on September 22, which is coincidentally the fall equinox.

thank you very much for information. Jupiter is closer this month, that is why there could be more seismic activities.
More quakes will be observed when Jupiter will change the direction on 19th November 2010.
The giant planet when changes the direction ,causes diesturbances in momentum of magma inside the crust.
This ultimately cause quakes (6.5+) or volcanic eruptions

I say we have a match challenge. We all pick three days a month and see who does best. Something tells me Amit will be right there in the middle of the pack, no better no worse than the average.
Total BS. You can't predict anything better than anyone else. I used to think you were on to something but there are clearly several other layers of factors even if you initial premise has some merit. You are incorrect more than you are correct
lazlo
Agreed. please give three dates for each month till December 2010.
I shall soon post my dates (after rechecking )
All are invited to this match challenge please.
In fact ,several times I have requaested that,some one should give the dates.At last you have agreed to do the same
Thank you very Much

Hello Amit,
Since I am so freaked out by earthquakes AND I happen to live right on top of the San Andreas fault, you can se that I am always running around wondering when the an earthquake is going to happen. Since I was young I can usually say when these things are going to hit. I am never wrong. I know there are earthqaukes everyday, I am talking about news worthy stuff.... My ears buzz a for a few ays and my nose bleeds. I notice that the weather is hot and muggy, not typical for Southern California. So I think within the next few days, I will be rattled by a mighty one AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Just thought I should add my 2 cents in lol...... Let me know what you think....
