Here are few guidelinesThe potential planets are
Jupiter
Venus
Mars
Saturn
Mercury
and some time Urenus if closer or changing direction
In that order
Moon is main trigger
First find out probable week /month by watching proximity of planet/s
Second check near straight line alignment of this planet ( which is closer) with Earth and other major planets like Jupiter,Venus,Mars or Sun
If above both are satisfied watch fast moving Moon.When Moon joins or opposes this straight line combination it is a prone date.
The date and even time depends on Moon.
Full Moon and New Moon are one of the straight line combinations.
The magnitude depends on proximity of planets .Closer the planets more is magnitude
1) First find out the closer/closest planets
2) check the near straight line configuration of Earth,'the closer planet and any other planets..like Jupiter,Venus ,Mars ,Sun and Moon
Now we can see if Sun or Moon are closer full Moon and New Moon become potent
Thus more the planets closer,closest and in straight line configuration and Moon also join the line...the date/s are potent

Amit;
Mercury? That little rock? Uranus? too far away. Why not Pluto if distance doesn't matter.
Adding all these in makes for too many conjunctions. You'll be predicting every other day.
The moon, yes but it's not in the list of conjunctions so I'll have to add it separately somehow.
Roger
I'm not finding a moon ephemeris. What do you use for moon position?
So far I've not found a moon ephemeris.
What do you use for it?
Re predictions for June;
You made 9 predictions but only 4 were correct.
There were 11 mag 6+ quakes but only 6 were in your predicted dates.
Just chance at work I'd say.
Roger
Amit;
Thinking it over, gravitational force from planets makes no sense. The only notable forces are sun and moon. The planets are too small and far away to matter. Your "hits" are just coincidental.
Have you looked at full moon and new moon dates? How about those alignments rising or setting, for fault opening forces? It's worth a look.
Roger
Amit;
I mentioned sun-moon oppositions as a pulling apart force but that can't be a 180 degree line because that would be a force thru the core. What's needed is an angle which would be a force acting near the surface to pull the faults apart enough to quake. Don't ask me what that angle would be, I'm not enough of an astronomer and geometer to compute it.
Roger
Amit;
Never mind the angle, what you want is moon setting as sun rises or vice-versa.
Roger
Amit;
I think the problem may be that quakes may just not be ready to happen when your situations happen.
It's like firing a gun when only some of the chambers are loaded. Pulling the trigger is the right way to fire it but if the chamber is empty nothing happens.
Roger
Roger
Yes
You are right.
It happens -when the triggers is right the pull is not on fault line. So pull has to wait for couple of hours for fault line to come directly under it.
Or
Some times with trigger not at peak ,a fault line comes beneath and quake occurs few hours early
Amit
Roger
A trigger is at time when
1) Either Sun or Moon are at Zenith or Nadir of epicenter (with margin)
Or
2) Sun or Moon are either Rising or setting at epicenter
So if you want to remain alert on prone dates
The Times are
Noon
Midnight
Dusk
Dawn
And
Time when Moon is overhead (zenith),180 degree apat (Nadir) or Moon rising/setting
If the prone date is full Moon or New Moon watch
Noon,Misnight,Dawn and Dusk with margin

I think you are mistaking tidal pull with Gravitation pull.Both are different.
Tidal pull is diffential Gravitation pull on two extreme part of a body ( mainly water body)
Thus for maximum tide in ocean to occur full Moon is equally potent as New Moon
Search the difference between two on Google

Roger
Yes
I have done the exercise for almost all major quake of last 100 years +
And these are outcome of all those manual exercises since 1993(Latur-Maharashtra -India quake of 30th September)when thie interest of such study started
By the way that quake 6.2 was on Full Moon day at 4.15 hrs local time ,early morning
Amit;
Wouldn't these conditions be true for the whole earth over the course of a day?
How could you predict location?
Roger
Roger
No.
Because the Moon is a fast moving object and moves one degree every two hours.So the trigger may disperse in couple of hours
Amit;
What do you use to determine planet's position?
I've looked everywhere I could think of to find an astronomical ephemeris for all the planets
in csv format and covering a long period. 2000 to 2023 would do.
I know there is such a thing; I had one but lost it. Without it I'm stuck.

Roger
You can get pdf former easily.
But to convert it in CSV or machine readable format here is the tool
https://bytescout.com/products/pdfmultitool/index.html
Amit
Or
Use this scanner
pdf to text format
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cv.docscanner
Amit;
Bytescout is too expensive and when I asked them to create the ephemeris for me, no answer.
Roger
amit;
play.google was flagged as a scam before I could even finish typing it.
