One more proof of my epicenter location hypothesis.
A quake of 6 at Japan Region today ie 5th October 2023 at 2 hrs UTC
Location 30 N ,140 E
watch the Sun is at 147 E at the time of quake ie at Zenith ( 7 degree margin)
Moreover, Moon is setting at the epicenter at the time of quake.

Not sure if I mentioned this.
I counted all the conjunctions involving sun moon venus mars jupiter saturn for the years 2005 thru 2020.
There were only 59 of them.
During that time there were 2442 mag 6+ quakes. Odds of a hit would be huge.
Worse yet, 3 of the conjunctions had no quake.

I can not understand, how you got the number.
Let us take only Sun and Moom.
There are two ,one full Moon and New Moon,o and 180 degrees ,of Aspects.
So 24 in a year .
Now for 15 years
24x15=360 aspects.
Consider all aspects .

I have a list of conjunctions but it lists only pairs of planets and does not include sun or moon.
Careless of me. I apologize.
Health update; no more tube in bladder which did nothing. Dr. decided must be infection and prescribed pills to be taken every 12 hours for a week.

Have you looked at the 51 quakes with no lunar phase?

It is true that most of the quakes are triggered by Moon aspects with Sun
However ,there are few major quakes, as high as 8+, which are not on Full Moon or New Moon.
Such quakes are triggered by closer Jupiter, Venus ,Mars and /or Saturn.
When Moon joins or opposes such closer planets ,a major quake can occur ( even though ,there is no full Moon or New Moon aspects)
