You have moon phases regularly and quakes happening frequently. Correlations are bound to happen. You need to show they happen more frequently than chance.

just for starters; there are 10 3 day intervals per month so any quake has a 1/10 chance of being in a particular spot. But there are only so many moon phases which reduces the odds further. Factor that in to get the true odds. Then see how many hits you get out of how many quakes to see if it's more than expected.
