Earthquake Prediction for 17th April 2011 window-

hi
Next window period ,for major earthquake is 17th April 2011. window period is + or - one day.Time in UTC.
The quake could be 6.5+
Now narrowing in on time ,it could be like this
1) 16th April---0300 UTC
2) 17th April---1030 UTC
3) 18th April---0330 UTC
These are the probable times. May be more than one quake
Place not known

Hi, I'm from Chch New Zealand as you would know we have been having earthquakes and after shocks since September the 4th NZ Time 2010, starting with a 7.2 then a bad on e the 26 December 2010 and then we had a really destructive one on February the 22nd NZ Time which was a 6.3 but way more ground force We had loss of lives and huge damage. We are a very worried city at present as the after shocks continue we have had a prediction of another big one for the 18th April New Zealand Time. Do you think this could be the same one you are predicting. Cheers Chelle

I am from christchurch also. The shocks have calmed down to pretty much nothing, also the one which hit 22nd Feb seemed to have cancelled out the Darfield shakes as there has been very little activity from that area since 22 Feb. It would be nice to think that this is a positive sign.

Hello I too am from Christchurch.

Just wondering if you have seen the barcaroller channel, he too predicts an earthquake for this period. and worryingly says ChCh could be in for it again.

hi
Storms in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Toll 13.
see general theory of tidal pull for details
Tidal pull applies at all levels
1)Lava/magma----Earthquakes and eruptions
2)Oceans- High tide and low tides
3)Atmosphere- Storms and cloud bursts
So the dates prone to major quakes are also prone to Volcanic eruptions as well as cyclones

Hi Amit,
Both Australia and Christchurch shakes were officially 5.2 on USGS site and classed as 5.3 in NZ- not 5.8.(tho it did feel strong and long!)

hi
Time and again it is observed that ,the probable dates of major earthquakes are also prone to volcanic eruptions ,cyclones /tornado
when the tidal pull is maximum ie when there is maximum high tide in the oceans it will also give maximum low tides on the same day(90 degrees apart)
1) Thus when he pull is maximum on magma,it can create earthquakes
2) If the pull can break open the mouth of volcano ,it will give an eruption
3) When the tidal pull is applied on oceans ,it gives high tides and low tides
4)When the pull attracts moist clouds at one place ,it gives cloud bursts or unusually heavy rains
5) When the pull is applied to atmosphere,it gives high pressure zones at high tide locations and low pressure zones at low tide axis
when ,the air rushes to fill the low pressure zone (after it comes out of low tide effect) it gives tornado
If these air(rushing to fill the low pressure zone),moves over oceans having water temperature 26 to 28 degrees it gathers momentum from latent heat of waters and thus creates Cyclones
Thus these dates are prone for all such disasters
6) If on given date ,an eruption occurs ,the magnitude of the quake will be less than expected as the internal pressure is released due to eruption

Hi..!! Thanks Amit... May your hard work of earthquake prediction save the lives of many Indian people and all over the world.

hi
Due to my heavy engineering office work load, there may be some delay in my postings on this blog.
As long as I am in srvice, earthquake prediction research will be a part time affair. It is diffict to find time after 9-10 hrs of a days work, and 3 Hrs of Mumbai-Indai - transport (to and fro)

hi Amit just curious why you had no other big earthquake predictions for april after the 17th..I just saw a 6.9 solomon islands the 23 did you miss this one or didnt have the time...thanks for the hard work

hi

lease see my latest posting

http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=33253361&postID=5443926683415643155

where a quake of 6.4 was predicted. I did not expect it to be more than 6.5

Besides ,my cycle quake theory says , a quake is expected before and after 7th/8th day of my predicted date
So after 16/17th a smaller cycle quake was expected on 7th/8th Day

hi
Here is one more observation. These are my personal observations and views
The date predicted is selected as per theory
1) On the date, earthquakes occur at high tide axis due to internal tidal pressure, which breaks the earth crust partially
2) If ,it can break open the mouth of volcano ,an eruption occurs
Both 1) and 2) above occurs at high tide axis at the given time
3) On the predicted date the low tide is also more ,which is 90 degrees apart of high tide axis.
Now,the earth crust also experiences the tidal pull.If a subduction fault comes under low tide axis(on the given date) it triggers sudden slip of subduction plate,by pulling apart both the plates. Thus occurs major quake at subduction fault during low tide forces acting on it.These subduction quakes are more potent

Hey – good blog, just trying round some blogs, seems a pretty nice platform You Are using. I’m at present utilizing Drupal for just a few of my sites but trying to change certainly one of them over to a platform very a lot the identical to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you'd suggest about it?
