Question 2 ...to plate tectonics

 Question 2 ..to Plate Tectnics

There was a major quake of 6.3 magnitude  at Latur ,Maharashtra ,India ,on 30 th Sept 1993.

Now Latur is not on plate boundry.

How come such a major quake at Latur?

Let me give the answer given by plate tectonics..

..There are fault line inside a major plate.

This fault line is the cause of intra plate quakes...

Now the question is...

....As per plate tectonics,For any quake to  occur there should be relative motion .In case of a small intraplate fault line ,How come there be a relative motion inside one plate..?

Now my version is...

PLATE BOUNDRIES AND FAULT LINE ARE DUE TO EARTHQUAKES AND THE EARTHQUAKES ARE NOT DUE TO PLATE BOUNDARIES OR FAULT  LINE.

It is true that most of the quakes occur at plate boundaries but it is  simply because they are the weaker sections and they give away first due to tidal pull passing near by.
